Two weeks ago, I had the honor to speak at the Norwegian Developers Conference in Oslo. The event featured a noteworthy variety of sessions and speakers, and more than a few bronies and pegasisters! It was a truly amazing experience, and one I hope to repeat next year.

Web Usability on a Budget

Not all projects have the budget for UX designers; as a result, experience in disciplines such as user research, interaction design, and information architecture are often expected of all developers on a team. Fortunately, these arcane-sounding topics are far from impossible to grasp for mere programmer mortals. In this talk, you’ll be introduced to several UI-focused frameworks to help give your functional site a facelift.
